How to Create a New Pay Period/Pay Period in Advance
Occasionally you may wish to process pay periods for your employees in advance, such as over a period where your business closes down or if you intend to take a long period of leave.
Navigate over to "Process a Pay", and then "Time & Income".
Your timesheet will naturally default to the current pay period with older pay periods available for selection via the dropdown menu.

To create a pay period in advance, select the information ( i ) button to the right of the "Pay Period" dropdown menu. This will open a new menu.
Select "Create a new pay period" and the next pay period will be created.
You can now process each employees' timesheet, approve and finalise the pay for the advance period in the same way you would if the period was current.
